"Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
"Looking unto Jesus; the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
"Hebrews 12:1-2" KJV
Isn't the first verse just beautiful? The cloud of witnesses is referring to those who have gone before, who are in Heaven cheering us on. Maybe you have saved family members who have passed away. Isn't it so cool to think they are up there, knowing that our present struggles are absolutely NOTHING compared to the joy we are looking forward to? The reward is so worth it! God blesses those that are faithful in the small things. Don't give up!
The second verse reminds us not to look at the storm, but He who holds the storm in his hand. Keep your eyes on the finish line!
Finish the school year out strong! I believe in y'all. xoxo
