Due to some problems I had with the blog system, it's been a while! I hope y'all had an amazing Thanksgiving!!
As we're approaching the holidays, it is definitely not too early to start brainstorming Christmas gifts!! However, if you're anything like me, it can be easy to get carried away and spend more money than you can afford... Or maybe you hardly have any money to begin with. My goal through this blog post is for y'all to get inspired and be able to give amazing gifts on a low budget:)
If you love to bake...
You could buy cute little bakery style boxes at Hobby Lobby (for cheap) and fill them with homeade baked things! You could also make plates with an assortment of cookies! Here are links to just a few of my favorite Christmas-y recipes...
If you love to write...
Write your loved ones a poem about them or things they love. You could also write them a short story based on the style of story that they enjoy best. Handwritten letters are great too!
If you love flowers...
Gift small flower bouquets! Or try your hand at paper flower bouquets! Baby's breath is beautiful and super cheap; you can get a whole bouquet of it at Ingles or Walmart for around $4.
If you love to thrift...
You can buy a pretty basket and fill it with thrifted treasures you find! You can personalize it based on the person. Maybe a pretty flowy skirt you find, a book, teacup, etc.
If you love music...
-Write them a song!
-Create them a personalized playlist!
-Record yourself playing or singing their favorite song for them!
If you love to paint...
Paint on cds or old records for an aesthetic vibe. Paint tote bags, bookmarks, posters, canvases, tote bags, or even books!

If you love to crochet...
Crochet them something seasonal! Maybe a hat or scarf! This is the hat pattern that I like to use...
To make a simple scarf, follow these directions...
(Use bulky yarn:)
1. ch 13, starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc 12
2. ch 2 then turn, hdc in each stitch across (12)
3. Repeat step 2 until the scarf is the length you want. Tie off and weave in ends
If you love books...
I have so many ideas for this category lol.
-Hand annotated book (here's a guide)
-Book package
-Bookmarks (handmade)
-Mugs/tea/coffee
-Highlighters ($7 at Mr. Pen) link below⬇️
If you prefer quality time over things...
If you like to do hair/makeup give someone (maybe your little sister?) a makeover! Invite someone for a bookshop, coffee, or picnic date:) Don't forget, it's the thought that counts!
"...Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Acts 20:35
I hope you enjoyed today's post! I'd love to hear some of your Christmas gift ideas! What would you like me to post next?
